The last time I was in Melbourne I visited a gaming store and saw some people playing a tabletop miniature war game called AT-43. I had heard of it already, but hadn’t seen it played in Brisbane and I only found the starter box being sold in Brisbane. The game looked really good, and based on everything I had read about it, I decided to try it for myself. I bought the starter set and a lot of other miniatures, and once I had a look at the rules I was really impressed with the combat resolution. It was really intuitive. I eventually met someone in a games club who played it, and we played some games. Unfortunately the company that made it closed down, so I can only get it from eBay. I will try and put some pictures of it on the blog as long as that’s not illegal. An interesting side note – Dust Tactics, which I was brought out by FFG and now distributed by Battlefront games, is similar in style to AT-43, and the minis and walkers look very similar. That’s another game I’m keen to play after buying the starter box. Maybe I could try playing AT-43 with Dust Tactics minis !
